Statement Upheld Special educational needs 30-Sep-2024
Summary: We upheld Ms X’s complaint about a Council’s delay in completing the Education Health and Care (EHC) Needs Assessment and Plan process and failure to consider whether to arrange alternative educational provision for Y. The Council will issue Y’s final EHC Plan, apologise, make a payment of £1000 and provide evidence of the steps taken to increase caseworker capacity.
