    Summary: The Ombudsman has found evidence of fault in the Council's handling of housing applications made by Ms X in 2014 and 2015. The Ombudsman recommended the Council completes its assessment of Ms X's 2015 application, apologises to her for the failings she identified and pay her £250 in recognition of the uncertainty its actions have caused her. The Council agreed and for this reasons the Ombudsman has ended her investigation of this complaint.
