- Although I do not think the outcome of the planning application would be different, the Council’s failure to be clear in how it would deal with the deferred application has caused Mrs B frustration and uncertainty. To remedy this, the Council has agreed it will show the Ombudsman it has reviewed its procedures so it is clear how to proceed when an application is deferred and then heard afresh.
