There was some drift in the Council’s decision-making in 2024 and a lack of liaison with the planning department. That left Mr B with some uncertainty. An apology and payment to Mr B, along with reminder to officers, is satisfactory remedy.

The Council has already offered suitable personal remedies and has carried out some service improvements.
