The Council remedied this before Miss X complained to the Ombudsman, by backdating her housing application, automatically bidding for her, apologising and making a payment. Miss X complained to the Ombudsman, as she believed she had missed out on offers of housing. A payment towards the distress she suffered from the delay in finding out that she did not miss housing offers, remedies the complaint.
