£14,255 to £17,606 per annum

If you have experience of handling FOI and Subject Access requests, a great knowledge of information law and are looking to work for an organisation whose employees highly rate its flexible working arrangements, this new role in the Local Government and Social care Ombudsman could be just right for you.
We have created a new part-time post to work alongside our Information and Records Officer handling information requests.
We are looking for someone with excellent customer service and communication skills, who can convey complex information accurately and clearly, often in a tactful and diplomatic way. We want to hear from you if you have a positive and flexible approach to completing tasks to deadline without supervision, work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and relish working in a challenging environment of tight and often conflicting deadlines.
To process requests for information made under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Environmental Information Regulations (EIR), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act (DPA).
