Every year the LGO deals with over 18,000 complaints about local councils. Some of these complaints are made either directly by children and young people, or on their behalf by a parent, carer, or advocate.
We have special Investigators to deal with complaints from children
and young people. They will ensure that you are provided
with the help and support you need to make your complaint
and take your views into account throughout their investigation.
You can fill in a complaint form on-line
from our main site. It may help if you look at the how
to complain section of this website first. Or you can phone
one of our advisers on 0845 602 1983 or 024 7682 1960 who can answer
any questions you have and take down your complaint over the phone,
if you wish. (Please note that calls may be recorded for training
and quality purposes).
