At the Local Government Ombudsman we believe that our success depends on the commitment, integrity and skills of our staff.
We have a variety of jobs, with the vast majority actively involved in case investigation. Staff are selected from among applicants who meet core requirements and are then supported with training and development to help them progress throughout their careers.
We employ around 200 staff in offices in London, Coventry and York. We provide a service for people from all backgrounds and all parts of the community and we strive to ensure that those we employ - and our work culture - value and reflect this diversity.

Fieldwork Associates
These are freelance, self-employed workers who provide a flexible service to support Investigators, primarily to gather evidence. See further details of our current opportunities.
