Who we are
The two Local Government Ombudsmen are Jane Martin and Anne Seex.
Jane Martin
Jane Martin deals with complaints about all London boroughs (except Lewisham); the cities of Manchester and York; Trafford BC, High Peak BC; unitary authorities in Essex, Kent, East Sussex, Surrey, Buckinghamshire and Gloucestershire; authorities in Berkshire, Suffolk, the south and west of England and authorities in central England not covered by Anne Seex below. Jane Martin also deals with complaints about adult social care providers that arise in the local authority areas described above.
Anne Seex
Anne Seex deals with complaints about the London Borough of Lewisham, Birmingham City, Coventry City and Solihull MBC; county and district authorities in Essex, Kent, East Sussex, Surrey, Buckinghamshire and Gloucestershire; all authorities in West Sussex, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Warwickshire and the north of England (except for High Peak BC, Trafford BC, and the cities of Manchester and York). Anne Seex also deals with complaints about adult social care providers that arise in the local authority areas described above.
